Buying with Four Star

A softer way to buy a Florida home.

Manufactured-home buying has its own rules. Our agents know them all.

How we help

Park-by-park guidance, not generic.

Buying a manufactured home is not buying a condo. The home itself, the lot it sits on, the community rules, the financing — every piece works differently. Our agents have placed thousands of families into Florida parks, and we will walk you through every step.

We start with a conversation. No pressure, no contracts on the first call. Just a list of what you want, what you don't, and what you can afford.

The process, in five steps

Frequently asked
Do I own the land?

Usually no. You own the home; you lease the lot. We will explain what that means for taxes, equity, and your monthly costs.

Can I get a mortgage on a manufactured home?

Yes — but the lenders are different. We work with three Florida specialists who do this every day.

What is lot rent?

A monthly fee paid to the community for the land your home sits on. It typically includes water, sewer, trash, and common-area maintenance — but always ask for the breakdown.

Can I rent it out later?

Some communities allow it, most do not. Always ask before you buy.

Ready to start?
